We'll See How Long That Lasts....

Well, I wasn't as faithful as I thought I would be! Oh well! You learn and you live! Life is very interesting, handing us situations that we may or may not want. It's like someone giving out boxes of stuff. You don't know why people are waiting in line or what is in the boxes. When you get your first box, you open it up and find a nice, beautiful chocolate cake. You enjoy the cake and decide to get in line again. When you get your next box, it's a bomb and it blows up in your face. It doesn't kill you, but it hurts. You think to yourself, why do I want to get in line again if I'm only going to get blown up? A really good friend convinces you to get back in line because of the chocolate cake. I don't know why I wrote that, but it seemed to make sense a while ago! It is interesting what life gives us. I understand a lot more now than I did a week ago. There were experiences this week that were so sweet and spiritual and there were some that totally sucked! But right now, I'm feeling good! Things are going my way and life is good. Sometimes I feel like so much advice is thrown and me that I have so much pressure in my head and I would rather my head explode than process it all. Right now, I'm doing what I feel is right. I'm making decisions prayerfully. I'm playing the cards that I've been dealt, and I'm going to win.

Quickie!!!

Well, I just got back from the Colors concert in Sandy! It was a lot of fun! I would have to say that I enjoyed myself! Hayley probably doesn't believe me, but I like them a lot! I want to get their other cds, but if I ask Hayley, she'll think that I'm just trying to make her happy or something! She's funny! No, I'll ask her for the cds, it won't be a problem! It's very interesting, because now that I live away from home, it feels weird to come back to Draper! I don't know why! Just interesting! Well, I'm absolutely exhausted and I want to go to bed! I have 2 meetings tomorrow before church, so we'll see how they go! The Bishop scheduled all of us to meet with him so we can get to know each other and I'm going to meet with the FHE grandparents of our ward. (He (Tyler Baer) kinda mentioned the possibility of me being the dad of our group! I'm cool with that! That would be fun! We'll see how it goes!) Well, it's been a good one! I've written three times in a row, so that's pretty cool! We'll have to see how long that lasts! :)

I'm A Regular Now!

Hey, it's me again! I just got back from a date! It was a lot of fun! It was a double and it was me and Hayley; and Matthew Capone and my sister, Whitney! Matthew is one of my misison buddies and so I knew we'd have a fun time! Initially, we were trying to get some more mission friends to come, but Jonny Ray (one of my companions) had to go to dinner with his "married friends" (whatever that means) and Ryan Magoffin found out about it too late! Well, there's always next time! It was fun! We were going to see a movie, then we decided to go and make dinner up the canyon at Hayley's cabin! So, the time came and we picked everyone up and we went to Harmon's. Then, we split up and bought the necessary items for making burgers and s'mores! After we got up to the cabin, we began cooking the hamburgers while we talked and had fun! Then, we ate the yummy food and laughed a lot! After dinner, we felt like watching a movie. Hayley opened her movie drawer and we voted on the movies. It was kind of between the Goonies, Twister and Runaway Jury. Goonies was quickly thrown out and we decided we should watch Runaway Jury! It was so good! It made me want to read novels again! It's been such a long time since I've sat down and read a book! The last book I read was New Moon by Stephenie Meyer! It's a good one! I'm currently in the middle of Eclipse by the same author, but I haven't had much time lately! Anyway, back to the date! We watched the movie and then cleaned up and then went home! It was a very fun night! It was a simple, but fun date! I always love going out with Hayley! She's super fun and it's a ton of fun to be with her! I love her a lot! Well, the BYU game is tomorrow, so we'll see who wins! I think that the Cougars are going to beat the tar out of UCLA! That's my prediction: BYU will dominate all four quarters! I think that they're a bit frustrated with the way they've been playing and they want to win a good game! Well, we'll see how that goes! Goodnight!

My First One!

Wow, it's about time! I've read so many "blogs" from other people and I've always kinda dreamed of having one of my own. I hate writing, but I love talking to people and telling stories. Oftentimes, i feel bad when I'm talking to my parents at night after I get home from a date or from hanging out with friends. They are always so patient with me and they just keep on listening. My Mom knows me SO well and she always knows exactly what to say when I need something uplifting. My Dad and I are best friends! I wish I could be the exact same as my Dad. He's everything I want to be in a Father, a Husband, and a Priesthood Holder! I love my parents. I couldn't have picked 2 better, perfectly designed parents for me! They're awesome! Well, I love being at college! I love being able to spread my wings and have a ton of fun! (oh yeah, and study, too....) It's been so sweet! I love being able to pick my classes and plan my schedule! It's so sweet! My roommate is very cool! He's a lot of fun and he's been able to keep me normal! I LOVE MY CLASSES! They are so amazing! I love learning and they're way sweet! I'm taking Biology, Human Geography, Psychology (with my amazing sister), Book of Mormon, and Physics. The only class that really scares me is Physics. I've forgotten so much math that I feel the mission has rendered me useless! (partially!) It's coming back though! I'm relearning a lot of stuff, so it's cool! I really like how busy i am! All of my classes are keeping me busy! I think i'll get good grades, because I haven't missed an assignment yet! (congratulations, robbie, it hasn't been 2 weeks yet!) Well, it's getting late! I am going to try to keep this updated so everyone will be able to know what I'm up to! Maybe this will double as a journal one day! I've never been good at writing in my journal, but I'll be better at this! Well, goodnight everyody!
